🐾 Cat Café Animal Interaction Policy
Welcome to our Cat Café!
To ensure the safety, comfort, and happiness of our cats, and you, we kindly ask all guests to follow the guidelines below. These policies are designed to create a safe, respectful, and relaxing environment for both humans and animals.
1. Respect the Cats

Let the cats come to you... do not chase, grab, or corner them.

No rough handling, picking up, or placing cats on laps unless a staff member gives permission.

Never wake or disturb a sleeping cat.

Tail pulling, ear tugging, or teasing will result in removal from the cat lounge.
2. Time & Capacity

To keep our cats happy and stress-free, cat lounge visits are limited to a set session length. This allows both our guests and our kitties to enjoy quality time together.

Maximum number of guests in the lounge at one time is TBD.

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your time slot.
3. Children & Families

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.

No running, yelling, or toy throwing inside the lounge.

Parents/guardians are responsible for their children’s behavior with the cats.
4. Hygiene & Safety

Hand sanitizing is required before and after entering the cat lounge.

Shoes must be removed or covered with provided booties.
-
No outside pets or food are allowed in the cat lounge area.
5. Photography

Photography is absolutely welcome and encouraged, but no flash, the cats don't approve!

TAG us in your videos or pictures! We love to share our community experience.

Refrain from using phone speakers or playing audio/videos inside the lounge.
6. Food & Drink

Please don’t feed the cats human food, it can upset their tummies.

No outside food or drinks are allowed.

Every treat, drink, or snack you purchase from our café helps support our rescue mission and the cats in our care.
7. Health & Allergies

If you have severe allergies, please prepare for interaction with cats and alert staff of any medical issues immediately.

Visitors showing signs of illness may be asked to reschedule for the safety of all guests and animals.
8. Adoption Info

All cats in the lounge are adoptable! Staff can provide information.

Please ask before starting the adoption process.
9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave without refund for violating interaction rules or endangering the animals.
10. Waiver of Liability

By entering the cat lounge, you acknowledge the potential for scratches or allergic reactions and agree to release the Cat Café and its staff from liability for minor injuries or health issues related to animal interaction.
